Nikita Zaitsev accused of taking children from his ex-wife (UPDATED)

UPDATE (December 6th, 3:40 PM): Margo Gotovtseva has issued the following statement to Drake Fenton of PostMedia in response to Zaitsev’s agent’s statement:

Today, an Instagram account belonging to Nikita Zaitsev’s ex-wife shared a video purporting to show her and Zaitsev’s children being removed from her. The video was also circulated on Twitter by @lentaruofficial.

Я пишу этот текст, и все внутри сжимается снова, от боли за моих детей, за то, что невинным маленьким деткам приходится такое переживать, от чувства беспомощности в стране и городе, в котором я выросла. Так не поступают достойные мужчины, так себя в принципе не ведут взрослые люди!!! Это кошмар... и я буду бороться до конца за своих девочек... Я обращаюсь сейчас к моим бывшим свекрови и свекру: Вы можете как угодно обзывать, оскорблять меня, и даже нападать! Но вы не имеете права впутывать крошечных девочек в свои разборки со мной! God knows, I didn’t want that any of you will be witnesses of all this nightmare which’s happening in our “family”. I think that this video doesn’t need no comments… but I’m still shaken! It’s already 12 days since I don’t know where my girls are, don’t know with whom they are!!! Because their father isn’t in Russia!! I’ve written several statements to many instances, including the police, which I’ve been counting on, begging them to find my children, but still didn’t get any response!! I’m still hearing them crying and screaming “mom, mom, help me, I don’t want to” for the 12th day in a row, remembering this situation… them trying to reach out to me, and my feeling of weakness against three adult men running away with babies into the car… it’s a vandalism, I thought the 90s have already passed, but i can’t even go to the children centre with my children. Nanny’s ear has been hurt, I’ve been grabbed by some unknown man, my babies were taken by force, me and nanny had no choice, but to let them go, so they won’t get hurt. I’m writing all of this and everything inside of me is hurting, because of my children, because they had to go through this and because of feeling of weakness in my country and my city where I have grown. This is not how decent men do it, the adult people don’t behave like this at all!!! Zaitsev left the team for personal reasons to travel to Russia on November 22nd. He missed the team’s game against the New York Rangers that evening, but returned for their game Monday the 25th vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets. No specific reason for his absence was given at the time.

On November 29th, an account tagged in Zaitsev’s wife’s video, and assumed to belong to Nikita’s father, posted the following:
