You asked for it, and we’re giving it to you: an open thread to talk Canada vs. Finland.

The stakes are as follows: a Canada win in regulation time guarantees a finals rematch vs. the USA. A loss of any kind is the end of the line. A win after regulation could be enough, but would depend on the result of Sweden-USA later today.

At his media availability, Jon Cooper said Jordan Binnington will start for Canada (groan), and that Cale Makar is a game-time decision (fingers crossed).

Puck drop is 1pm Eastern and can be watched on Sportsnet.
