Curtis Lazar Not Concussed By Headshot
Curtis Lazar escaped serious injury after what looked like a scary play by Tom Wilson.
Most Senators fans were worried on Wednesday night that Tom Wilson's headshot on Curtis Lazar was going to put the young forward out of the lineup long-term. A concussion would've been his second of this NHL season, only the second of his young career. Thankfully, good news was released earlier today:
Curtis Lazar is day to day after hit from Tom Wilson last night. No concussion. May play tomorrow.

It remains to be seen if Lazar will play in the next Sens game on Friday against the Sharks, but day-to-day suggests that the injury will not be long-term. With Shane Prince having been a healthy scratch for the last few games, it's unlikely anyone will be recalled from Binghamton.
As for Wilson, no further discipline than the match penalty he received during the game will be incurred:
I've been informed the NHL has not scheduled a hearing for Tom Wilson. Club expects the automatic suspension to be rescinded. #CapitalsTalk

Thus further proving that the automatic suspension rule is stupid because it's been rescinded every single time.
