Game #19 Hub: Ottawa Senators vs Seattle Kraken
Can't wait for the "back-to-back" excuse after this one...
The Ottawa Senators are seemingly mailing it in, so I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t tempting to do the same.
Yeah, that game against Columbus could be considered a blip, a blemish, or a stray data point; had they played some decent hockey in the previous months. Instead, it's just more of the same in terms of disappointment. Things are a bit grim.
I just found out raspberries are on sale at Farm Boy, so I'm going out to buy some raspberries, so I can make myself a protein smoothie.
As for this game preview, you can pretend I've written out 1,000 words with a hefty dose of the following: "accountability", "effort", "defensive structure", "power-kill", "dump-and-chase", and "out-coached", along with some Game Notes about various players doing exciting things.
Expect the same lines for tonight's 7:00 pm EST (Sportsnet One & TSN1200) game against the Seattle Kraken. I'll update the lines if necessary but that doesn’t seem very likely, which is depressingly tough to care about.
