Game 22 preview: Ottawa Senators @ Florida Panthers

The Ottawa Senators continue a five game road trip when they visit the Florida Panthers tonight. Ottawa is coming off an impressive 3-2 shootout win over the St. Louis Blues. The Senators hung with the Blues for the first two periods despite trailing 2-0 before completely taking over in the third.

Milan Michalek will return for Colin Greening while Craig Anderson will start in net. Here are the lines and pairings from Sylvain St-Laurent.

Some notes for tonight:

• The victory over the Blues was the first time this season that the Senators have won a game and outshot their opponents in the same game. They were the last team in the league to accomplish this.
• Erik Karlsson played over 32 minutes against the Blues. His performance in the third period was probably the best he has played this season.
• Alex Chiasson is quietly on pace for a 50 point season. He is likely the most underrated player on the team.
• Craig Anderson seems to do well against his hometown team so he will get the start. He has been very impressive this season. Hopefully Ottawa can stop needing him to be so good.
• When this road trip ends the Senators will return home and so will Daniel Alfredsson. Let's end this road trip already but even losing the next three games won't be able to kill the mood for that night.
