Game 47 Hub: Ottawa Senators @ Detroit Red Wings
What would you do~oo~oooo for a .900 save percentage?
After a tremendous 4-3 comeback victory over the Nashville Predators, the Ottawa Senators are continuing the trend of banking points in spite of goaltending.
5-2-2 in the last 9 games. Outshooting the opposition in each of those games, whilst allowing just 26 against per game in that stretch. An .871 save percentage. Amazing.
And no, they did not have good goaltending last game, either. Joonas Korpisalo was flawless...in the 40 minutes he played. Søggy bread on the other hand, not so much.
I truly believe this team could do something incredible if they just had a bit more consistency from Korpisalo and Anton Forsberg. Hopefully the former can build off of his recent performance for a full game in tonight's contest against the Detroit Red Wings.
