Game 66 Hub: Ottawa Senators @ Toronto Maple Leafs
Will this be the final instalment in the Battle of Ontario this season?
Over the last month, I've been torn on whether to even consider the possibility of the Sens and Leafs facing each other in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. For one: the Sens aren't in the playoffs until they're in, and while their five-game win streak couldn't have come at a better time, there are still plenty of teams on their heels.
But, for one night, the final regular season game between the two storied rivals will be fascinating to watch from this angle.
Lineups:
Nick Jensen started nursing an injury before the Four Nations break and has continued to miss practice but play through it over the last month. That ends tonight, with confirmation at warmup today that Travis Hamonic will be in for the grizzled vet. The good news on the injury front? Brady Tkachuk, who tweaked his hip on Thursday against Boston, will play alongside Stützle and Giroux. Linus Ullmark will start in net.

The Leafs lined up like this during their 3-2 loss to Florida on Thursday night. They're a pretty healthy group overall, only missing depth forward Max Pacioretty and depth defender Jani Hakanpaa to injury. Anthony Stolarz will start in net.

Game Notes:
- It's rare to see a forward average more ice-time per game than a defender, but that's the case in Toronto, with Mitch Marner's 21:34 per game coming in as... one second more than Morgan Rielly
- While the Leafs' big four continue to score at prolific rates – at or above point-per-game rates – they only have three more forwards who have recorded above 20 points on the season.
- The Sens only have one forward at a point-per-game rate – Stützle – but have ten forwards total above 20 points now that Greig and Amadio have started scoring. It'll be interesting to see if Ottawa's depth can hold up with Craig Berube in control of the matchups tonight.
