Game 7: Ottawa Senators @ Buffalo Sabres
It's the battle of the Northeast Division's biggest disappointments! Although Ottawa has usually had Buffalo's number when the two teams meet, Buffalo was victorious when they met earlier this season. The Senators have a lot of pressure on them from fans and management to get a win tonight -- but then again, so does Buffalo.
Here's who I'll be watching tonight:
- Brian Elliott: Elliott is 8-0 against Buffalo ith a .937 save percentage, and looks to be starting tonight.
- Robin Lehner: I really, really hope that the Senators don't have to put him in net tonight.
- David Hale: Recently called up from the AHL to add another physical presence on the blue line (and replace Brian Lee), it will be interesting to see how Hale performs.
-
Jason Spezza: He missed the last game against the Sabres due to injury, and should help provide Ottawa with the type of offensive threat it was lacking that game.UPDATE: Jason Spezza will sit out with a sore groin. Brian Lee will be in the line-up, presumably not as the Senators' first-line centre. - Tyler Myers: Still waiting on a Tyler Myers-Ryan Shannon fight.
As always, join us in the comments before, during, and after the game to cheer on and/or complain about the game!
