Remember when the California trip was considered the toughest three game stretch on any eastern team’s schedule? Now they’re sitting third last through fifth last.

The only roster change is the return of Marcus Hogberg. With him rejoining the team, Filip Gustavsson has been returned to Belleville. No skate today, but here were yesterday’s lines:

• Due to the Coronavirus the NHL cancelled overseas travel for league business, and put a two week quarantine policy in place for personal travel overseas by league staff. This does not apply to team staff, with the NHL leaving that up to each team to decide - which brings up the question of Marcus Hogberg. Hogberg’s return to the team came the same day as Sweden announced their first case that can’t be linked to travel or to contact with a previous patient

• Anaheim is the only team to have a less successful power play and penalty kill than Ottawa does
