Game 78 Hub: Ottawa Senators @ Florida Panthers

The Ottawa Senators are playing their second of three consecutive road games tonight against the Florida Panthers, who have been victorious in each of the three games between the two this season. The Sens are coming off a 3-2 OT win over the Washington Capitals, while Florida lost to Boston by the same score on Saturday.

With only five games left in the season, and the team officially eliminated from the play-offs, this is one of your last chances to watch regular season Ottawa Senators hockey until gulp October.

Game Notes:

• Of the three games Ottawa's played against Florida, I didn't expect the one on the road in February, on the second half of a back-to-back, to be the one during which they somewhat resembled a professional hockey team. Maybe home-ice advantage is overrated.
• This is a milestone game for Assistant Equipment Manager Ian Cox, who's taking part in his 1000th NHL game.
• Ridly Greig's production has slowed down to a more reasonable pace for a player in his position (26 points in 67 games), but he could close out the season in a big way if he can build upon his 2-point game against the Caps.
• Tonight's 7:00 pm EST game is available on RDS2, TSN5, and TSN 1200.
