Leclaire concussed, out at least a week

Pascal Leclaire's freak injury in yesterday's practice, where he took a Mike Fisher shot to the head (yet again), is worse than initially expected. Leclaire has been diagnosed with a concussion, meaning he'll be out for at least a week.

Mike Brodeur, who posted a shutout yesterday in only his second NHL start, will split time with Brian Elliott in net during Leclaire's absence. No word yet on who will start the next couple of games, but one has to imagine Brodeur will get at least one more start given his surprisingly strong play in his tremendously small sample size.

In other injury news, Daniel Alfredsson was skating at practice today and apparently looked great out there. Coach Cory Clouston said both Alfie and Filip Kuba will be gametime decisions for tomorrow night's bout with the Montreal Canadiens.
