Max McCormick Recalled From Binghamton
McCormick ready to suit up for Ottawa with a game slated against the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday.
Binghamton Senators' forward Max McCormick was called up on an emergency basis to possibly fill in for Mike Hoffman who has a lower body injury. This will be his first look at the NHL level for the 23 year old second year pro.

This season McCormick was centering the checking line with Zack Stortini and David Dziurzynski and recorded one goal in four games for Binghamton. The grinding, ever hustling Max has shown steady play so far showing no signs of letting up from his first season in the pros in 2014-'15.
However, what was somewhat surprising is no Matt Puempel, as he was Ottawa's last roster cut at this year's training camp. Puempel has also scored a goal and has played in all four games for the BSens. With McCormick up, there may be a move to call up a forward from Evansville with Ryan Penny or Alex Wideman the leading contenders.
