The Sens hop across the East River to wrap up a New York back-to-back
After romping all over the Rangers last night, the Senators pop over to Brooklyn for the second half of their back-to-back tonight.
With no injuries and coming off of a dominant effort you probably would expect the same lineup outside of the crease, but DJ Smith said before yesterday’s game that Erik Brannstrom would be out tonight and Cody Goloubef would be in, and Artem Anisimov’s return to health makes Filip Chlapik a healthy scratch. Craig Anderson gets the start.

- How are the New York Islanders on a league high nine game winning streak?
- Two power play goals last night pad the success rate a bit, but we’re still waiting on the Sens PP to actually look good for an extended stretch
- Brady Tkachuk really managed to get under the Rangers skin last night, drawing four penalties. With those four added in, he leads the league in drawn penalties so far this season. Every other team in the Eastern conference is going to hate him and it will be absolutely amazing
- Nick Paul has been a beast in the faceoff circle. 69% last night, and the only game he was below even was his season debut in Vegas
- Connor Brown has a seven point, six game streak going right now
