Today's Schedule:
Denmark vs. Canada, 9:45 am, TSN
Latvia vs. United States, 9:45 am, TSN2
Considering the issues with the Canadian power play at this tournament, it should come as no surprise that there are no Canadians among the scoring leaders. A trio of Russians (Viktor Tikhonov 4GP, 4G, 5A, 9P, Alex Ovechkin 4GP, 3G, 4A, 7P, and Sergei Plotnikov, 4GP, 4G, 3A, 7P) lead the way.
Washington Capitals winger Joel Ward, representing Canada for the first time, leads the Canadians in scoring with three goals and one assist in three games. Ottawa's Kyle Turris has a goal and an assist in three games.
