Open Thread: Canada vs. Sweden
An open thread to discuss Canada's Sunday morning game against Sweden
The World Championships continue this morning with Canada taking on Sweden, in what was Canada's most anticipated match of round robin play. There are also some interesting match-ups taking place elsewhere, with the rival Americans taking on Sweden's rival, Finland.

Team USA will also make some line-up changes ahead of the team's game against Finland.

Viktor Tikhonov continues to lead the tournament in scoring with 12 points while Canada's Cody Hodgson has vaulted into the top-5 scorers in the tournament on the strength of six goals (5GP, 6G, 1A, 7P). Canada's Joel Ward trails Hodgson by a point (5GP, 4G, 2A, 6P) and Ottawa's Kyle Turris is producing at a point-per-game clip (5GP, 2G, 3A, 5P).
In goal for Canada, James Reimer has played three games and has recorded two wins and a shootout loss. He has a 1.95 GAA and a 92.9 SV%. As good as Reimer's been, Scrivens has been better. The Edmonton netminder has played two games, winning both, has a 1.00 GAA and a save percentage of 96.2%, leading the tournament. With coach Dave Tippet alternating goalies, Scrivens gets the start today.
