The Noon Number: 32
29 32 - The number of appearances Ottawa Senators players have made in the NHL All-Star Game. The five players who will appear in the 2012 All-Star Game represents the most for any single game in the franchise's history.
Leading the way among individuals in number of appearances is, obviously, Daniel Alfredsson, who's been in six All-Star Games. After Alfredsson, six players have been in two games as representatives of the Senators: Erik Karlsson (incredibly, considering it's just his third NHL season), Jason Spezza, Dany Heatley, Marian Hossa, Radek Bonk, and Alexei Yashin. Eleven Fourteen players have played in one game, including three six rookies/YoungStars.
*** UPDATE: It turns out I missed a few Senators representing the team in the YoungStars games through the years, so the Noon Number should have been 32, to include: Mike Fisher (2002), Karel Rachunek (2002), and Anton Volchenkov (2003). ***
