Ottawa Senators Call Up Fredrik Claesson & Michael Kostka

Four roster changes for the organization

Four roster changes have taken place as Ottawa recalls defensemen Fredrik Claesson and Michael Kostka while in Binghamton defensman Mike Sdao will be making his season debut on Thursday and goaltender Scott Greenham is en-route from Evansville.

Claesson will be making his long awaited NHL debut (fingers crossed) tonight when Ottawa takes on the NJ Devils at CTC. Also along for the ride is Kostka, as this is his second duty with the big club.

Greenham will be filling in for Matt O'Connor who injured his knee in Tuesday night's win over Lehigh Valley. O'C is listed as day-to-day but to be safe Greenham will at least be backing up Chris Driedger on Thursday when the BSens play against the St. John's IceCaps.

Sdao has been out with an undisclosed injury all season and hasn't skated until recently as he cleared waivers today. The timing is just right and gives Binghamton some flexibility on the blueline with both defensemen gone, although there is a chance one will be returned in time after the Devils game tonight as the speculation is Jared Cowen will be a healthy scratch. Also Cody Ceci is out injured and Marc Methot is battling the flu.
