It's come to this: an Ottawa Senators team mired in a slump that just saw them lose to the Florida Panthers at home, with five players injured (including the entire top line). They are about to start a road trip and lucky for the Sens the first game is against the Carolina Hurricanes. Hopefully the Senators can make the most of this game against the last place team in the Eastern Conference, as they are slipping in the standings at the moment (down to seventh with 48 points).

Alex Picard and Shean Donovan will fill in for the injured Filip Kuba and Jesse Winchester, while Pascal Leclaire gets the start in net.
