Game 21: Binghamton halts Penguins' nine game road win streak
The annual Thanksgiving game in Binghamton was a really fun game, but started off rough. The Penguins defeated Binghamton on Sunday 2-1, and took an early lead with a goal from Eric Tangradi. It didn't last however, as Zack Smith tied the game on a powerplay to make it 1-1. The seesaw battle would continue into the 2nd with powerplay goals from Brett Sterling and Erik Condra to keep the game tied at 2-2, but the third period was all Binghamton. Despite having 20 shots in the third, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton wouldn't score again, and Binghamton would score three (technically four) unanswered goals to beat the AHL's best team, 5-2.

He had three points on the night, including Binghamton's first shorthanded goal. And look above: He's already matched his rookie season's point totals. May be the most improved prospect for the Senators.
BSens Hero: Erik Condra
Everyone wants to talk about Bobby Butler and O'Brien, and yet Erik Condra hasn't gotten much attention. The 211th overall pick in the 2006 draft had three points tonight, and is 17th in the AHL in points.

He was amazing yet again, and had 52 saves, two away from the club record! He also was charged with a hooking call in the 2nd. Wins, SV%, and PIMs. Someone is really dominating in AHL fantasy hockey.
BSens Hero: Zack Smith
Two goals tonight, including the GWG, Zack Smith has really stepped up the offense since being sent down.Fun Fact:

Game 22: Bulldogs blank Senators in Ottawa
This was a great effort by Binghamton, in front of the crowd of 14,873 fans (10,000 larger than last year and the highest attendance for any game in the AHL this season). Binghamton outshot Hamilton 33-18, and the defense worked really hard out there to keep the shots low. The defensemen weren't beat on any breakaways, completely on top of every rebound, and didn't allow any cross-crease passes. So the defense was there, and the offense had chance -- why didn't Binghamton score? The answer: Robert Mayer.
BSens Killer: Robert Mayer
Mayer came in the 2nd replacing Curtis Sanford, and blocked all 25 shots Binghamton had on him. Whenever Binghamton had a shot, he was there, and he looked unbeatable. I could go on for hours on the scoring chances Binghamton had, but failed to score on, but I think you guys get the point.
BSens Hero: Robin Lehner
While he wasn't tested as much as Mayer, Lehner was still good. He was able to keep the shutout going until the third, where he made a mistake repositioning and Alexander Avtsin scored the games lone goal. But this was a fine effort by Ottawa's lone goaltending hope.
BSens Hero: Defense
I mentioned them before, but the defense was terrific tonight. Hamilton's offense couldn't set anything up, and couldn't get any real scoring chances (or puck) in their zone.

The last game Binghamton played in Ottawa was also a 1-0 loss.

Game 23: Albany outlast Binghamton
The game started off rough for Binghamton, as the Albany Devils scored three unanswered goals in the first period and held the lead for the whole game. While Binghamton did step up the offense, they were again beat by the goalie, as Dave Caruso (no, not this one) annoyed the Binghamton skaters by stopped almost every shot.
BSens Killer: Dave Caruso
While he allowed three goals tonight, he also made 31 saves. Binghamton skaters had plenty of chances, but Caruso was there to make the save, and the post was the only thing in the way. I have a feeling Binghamton skaters won't be playing any lottery tickets.
BSens Hero: Powerplay
Binghamton went 2 for 7 on the powerplay, and Albany is ranked as one of the worst penalty kills in the game. The first goal for Binghamton came on the powerplay in the second with Jim O'Brien tipping in a shot from Derek Smith, and on a third-period 5-on-3 advantage Zack Smith cut the game 4-3.
BSens Hero: Jim O'Brien
His season keeps getting better, as his line was promoted to first. While his normal linemates on the Manchu WOK line were changed (Keller was out with an upper body injury that happen in Ottawa, and Roman Wick was swapped with Kaspars Daugavins), O'Brien was still Binghamton's best player.

Game 16: Jackals win first ever meeting with Aces, 2-1
The Jackals won their 10th game of the season against Alaska Wednesday night at First Arena. Patrick Coulombe scored the games first goal in the second, and Andrew Sweetland scored the GWG in third to make it a 2-0 game. Alaska's Wes Goldie scored the Aces only goal in the third shorthanded to end Elmira goalie Marco Cousineau hopes of a shutout.
Game 17: Jackals upended by Aces, 5-3
Yannick Tifu got the Jackals on the board in the first with only 16 seconds left in the first period. The Aces would tie it in the second with a goal from Chris Langkow (cousin of Daymond Langkow), but Elmira would take back the lead with a goal from Dustin Cameron for his second goal of the season. But the third would be all Aces. Wes Goldie would tie the game on a two-on-one 42 seconds into the third. Goldie would score his 300th ECHL goal minutes later and Zach Harrison would score the third unanswered goal by the Aces to make it 4-2. Brad Miller would score score the Jackals only goal in the third to cut the lead to one, but Steve Ward made it 5-3 with an empty-netter.
Game 18: Cousineau, Jackals hold off Cyclones
The Jackals would end the Cincinnati Cyclones' 10-game point streak tonight with a 3-2 win. Elmira's A.J. Perry got the Jackals on the board with a powerplay goal, and Cincinnati's Scott Lehman tied the game seconds later, but Elmira would end the first with the lead as Andrew Sweetland scored on a three-on-one. In the second Eric Lampe would add to the Jackals lead for his fifth goal of the year. Barret Ehgoetz would score seconds into the third, but it would be the game's last goal as the Jackals went on to win 3-2.
Game 19: Jackals end busy week with loss to Everblades
The Jackals would end their four-game week with a 6-2 loss to the Florida Everblades. Andrew Sweetland would score on the powerplay in the first, but the Everblades responded with six unanswered goals, two in each period. Matthew Pistilli and David Fischer would score in the first their pair in the first. Pistilli would score again in the second, and Mike McKenzie would get Florida's fourth and fifth unanswered goal, and Matthew Pistilli would get the hat trick with the Everblades final goal. He would be the first player to do so against the Jackals since Feburary 14, 2009. Brock McBride would score the games final goal.
