Ottawa Senators prospect roundup: February 16, 2011
Binghamton Senators (AHL)
28-20-6, 56 Points, 5th East Division (3-0-0 during the week)
173 Goals for, 149 Goals against
Game 52: Binghamton 3, Rochester 0 (Feb. 12, 2011, Blue Cross Arena)
Binghamton scored a single goal in every period and Barry Brust played another solid game in net and Binghamton held the Rocherster Americans to zero goals off 36 shots.
BSens Hero: Barry Brust
Brust leads the AHL in shutouts with sixth, and save all 36 shots against him. Good thing Robin Lehner is likely to stay in Ottawa, because he would be hard pressed to get any ice time against Brust.
BSens Hero: Corey Locke
Locke scored an empty netter to record his AHL leading 65th point.
Game 53: Binghamton 4, Hershey 3 (Feb. 13, 2011, Giant Center)
For the eighth and final time this season, the Binghamton Senators faced the defending back-to-back Calder Cup Champion Hershey Bears, and ended the series with a win. The win was Binghamton's first at the Giant Center since Oct. 24, 2009. Binghamton held a 3-1 lead going into the third but Hershey cut the lead to one ten minutes in. Roman Wick scored two goals, his second in the third to give Binghamton's its fourth, but Hershey answered back to cut the lead back to one. Luckily Binghamton was able to hold the lead, and get the win.
BSens Hero: Corey Locke
Two more assists for the AHL leader in points. He assisted in Colin Greening's opening goal and Derek Smith's powerplay goal in the second.
BSens Hero: Roman Wick
Scored Binghamton's final two goals tonight, and has really started taking advantage of more ice time that has opened up with Jim O'Brien's call up to Ottawa. Wick now has 11 goals in his rookie season in North America.

Game 54: Binghamton 4, Adirondack 3 (OT) (Feb. 14, 2011, Glens Falls Civic Center)
Bobby Butler, Robin Lehner, and Jim O'Brien returned to the AHL, and what an exciting game it was. Binghamton took the lead going into the third period, off goals from Derek Smith and David Dziurzynski, but Adirondack tied the game at three with back-to-back goals. Binghamton was able to tie the game up with a goal from captain Ryan Keller. The game went into overtime, with the only shot came from Andre Benoit, and it was the game winning goal.
Lehner Watch
Faced 29 shots, and made 26 saves. Allowed all three goals
BSens Hero: Ryan Keller
Got the game tying goal and recorded an assist off Derek Smith's goal, which was Binghamton's first goal of the game.
