Sens Select Javon Moore 112th overall
The Sens turn to Minnesota for their next pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.
With their second of three scheduled picks in the fourth-round, the Ottawa Senators selected Javon Moore out of Minnetonka High in the United States high school circuit.
The 6-foot-4 left-winger is known for utilizing his pro-ready frame to his advantage, hunting for pucks on the forecheck with a powerful skating stride, using his full wingspan to pass pucks around opponents, and disrupt opposing defenders with a drive to the net.
Moore is scheduled to join the freshmen class at the University of Minnesota next season, or could delay and spend a year with the Sioux Falls Stampede in the United States Hockey League.
Exciting weekend ahead at NHL Draft for former @TonkaBoysPuck star @Javon_Moore22:
