Senators Send Logan Brown Back to Junior
Brown rejoining the defending Memorial Cup champions
The Senators have reportedly sent Logan Brown back to the OHL’s Windsor Spitfires today.
Hearing that the #Sens have sent Logan Brown back to the OHL and the Spitfires. NHL experience is huge and he is poised for big year in OHL.

Brown made it in to four of the nine games so far this season, collecting his first NHL point in the process. He didn’t look entirely out of place, but with limited time and fairly sheltered on match-ups.
His return should be a boost for Windsor. They’re currently sitting reasonably well in the standings at fourth in the Western Conference, but at seventh in the conference and 15th overall in goals per game, they could use some more help up front. The Spitfires are playing in North Bay and Sudbury tomorrow and Friday - no word on if Brown will be able to join them for those games or not.
With this move it may mean that Zack Smith, Colin White or both will be coming off of IR soon. Smart money there would be on Smith returning to the lineup, since White is expected to have at least a few conditioning games in the AHL once he’s ready to play. In the short term, Jack Rodewald and his shiny new contract may get the call as well.
