Ottawa Senators Top 25 Under 25: Reader voting
Get your votes in for our annual summer series!
Normally at this time of year, we’ve all mostly forgotten about hockey. This year that hasn’t happened because Erik Karlsson trade watch is still in the back of all our minds, but with even that having gone quiet, we’re moving on to our usual summer series: Top 25 Under 25! And for maybe the third year in a row, we’re going to have reader voting ahead of time so it can’t be swayed by the staff. Make sure to get your votes in using the form below (or using this link). Voting will remain open until 11:59 pm on Tuesday, July 31st.
This year’s should be interesting, with no real consensus top-five, and nearly everyone on the last having less than one NHL season of experience. Erik Karlsson dominated the rankings for our first few years of doing this, with Mark Stone earning the top nod in the only year he had without competing against EK. Last year saw established NHLers (Jean-Gabriel Pageau, Cody Ceci) duke it out with high-potential prospects (Thomas Chabot, Colin White) with Chabot getting the eventual nod. You can find the full list here.
So who will come out on top? Will someone like Nick Paul still make the list after years of steady dropping? Will Colin White’s just-OK pro debut boost or hinder his ranking? How many goalies will make it? How many 2018 draft picks will show up on our list? Help us decide, and then make sure to check back in a couple weeks as we start to reveal the picks.
