Senators Acquire Dion Phaneuf in Nine-Player Deal
The Ottawa Senators have acquired Dion Phaneuf in a 9-player trade.
Earlier today there was speculation that Dion Phaneuf was yet again on the trading block.
Then TSN's Bob McKenzie announced the Senators were in on talks.
Details sketchy, no confirmation, but sounds like OTT/TOR working on a trade involving Leaf captain Dion Phaneuf. Let's see where this goes.

The full details of the trade are as follows.
#Sens get Phaneuf, Frattin, Bailey, Rupert and Donaghey in exchange for Cowen, Greening, Michalek, Lindberg and 2nd-rounder in 2017.
