Cody Bass C 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2010-2011
Born in Owen Sound, Ontario in 1987, Bass was drafted 95th overall by the Ottawa Senators in 2005 with a pick acquired from the Wild in exchange for Todd White. Bass played his junior hockey with the Saginaw Spirit and Mississauga IceDogs of the OHL. He joined the Binghamton Senators in 2006 after his OHL season ended. He played parts of six seasons with Binghamton and made his NHL debut with the Senators in 2007-2008. Injuries have been a problem throughout his career. Bass suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in December 2008 and missed the majority of the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 seasons with injury. He was a member of the Calder Cup-winning team in 2011 and signed as a free agent with the Columbus Blue Jackets that summer. He has primarily spent his time in the Columbus organization with the Springfield Falcons of the AHL.
