Mike Hoffman L 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014
Born in Kitchener, Ontario in 1989, Hoffman was drafted 130th overall by the Ottawa Senators in 2009. He had a difficult junior career. Hoffman played a few games for his hometown Kitchener Rangers in 2006-2007, but was cut in training camp the following year and wasn't picked up by another OHL team. He transferred to the QJMHL, but was cut by the Gatineau Olympiques after 19 games. He finally caught on with the Drummondville Voltigeurs, becoming an elite scorer and helped the Voltigeurs to a QMJHL title. He spent his over-age season with the Saint John Sea Dogs, winning the league MVP. He began his pro career in 2010-2011 with the Binghamton Senators and was a member of the Calder Cup winning team in 2011. Hoffman made his NHL debut on December 23, 2011 against the Carolina Hurricanes. He finished the 2013-2014 season with the Ottawa Senators.
