Senators Fire Paul MacLean
Despite last night's comeback win against the Vancouver Canucks, Ottawa head coach Paul MacLean has been dismissed.
While it's been discussed and rumored for a few weeks now, Paul MacLean has been fired from his position as head coach of the Ottawa Senators:
Breaking: The Ottawa Senators have dismissed head coach Paul MacLean. #Sens

MacLean, the ninth head coach in franchise history, won the Jack Adams Award as the top coach in the NHL in 2013. In his fourth season coaching the team, this is still somewhat surprising though it's been talked about for awhile. In true Ottawa fashion, he still has significant term left on his contract:
MacLean has just entered the first year of a 3yr extension. Wild.

Apparently, assistant Dave Cameron will be running the bench until a permanent head coach is named:
MacLean is fired. Expect Dave Cameron to take over for now.
