Sens Re-Watch: 18-04-2012 - ECQF Game 4 Preview and Open Thread, New York Rangers @ Ottawa Senators
Sens look to tie the series at 2-2.
Despite utterly dominating the New York Rangers in Game 3, the Ottawa Senators found themselves on the wrong end of a 1-0 loss, and a 2-1 series deficit. With another opportunity tonight on home ice at Scotiabank Place, they will look to take advantage, and send the series back to New York tied at 1-1.
Only one lineup change tonight for Ottawa, with Matt Carkner returning from his one-game suspension, and sending Matt Gilroy to the pressbox. Daniel Alfredsson will miss his second straight game with a concussion, Rangers forward Carl Hagelin is serving the second of his three-game ban for the hit that caused it.
Foligno - Turris - Butler
Greening - Smith - Neil
Konopa - O'Brien - Condra
Kuba - Karlsson
Cowen - Gonchar

Game Notes
- Ottawa outshot the Rangers 39-23 in Game 3, losing a game they should have won in larcenous fashion thanks to Henrik Lundqvist. For them to get this series tied, they can’t take their foot off the gas. Throw everything you can at King Henrik, and eventually pucks will go in.
- Hopefully Carkner coming back tonight provides a boost. We can argue all day about whether what he did was right or wrong, but it was something that didn’t go unnoticed by his teammates. Look for them to have a little extra spark tonight.
- I can’t stress enough what a hole not having Alfie creates. In terms of abilities, and intangibles, the Senators are missing their most important player once again. They can’t afford to compound that loss with mistakes and penalties.
- The Senators haven’t won a home playoff game since June 2, 2007. Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final./
