Sens Summer Fan Fest
Make sure to go to the biggest fan-run Sens event of the year!
Hey everyone, just a quick reminder that you should attend Sens Summer Fan Fest! It's the biggest fan-run Ottawa Senators event of the year, so you won't want to miss out. All proceeds go to the Sens Foundation, and you get to spend an afternoon at MacLaren's, just hanging out with other Sens fans.
You can find all the information on the official website, but here's a quick rundown to whet your appetite:
Location: MacLaren's, 301 Elgin St
Time: 1:00-5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 23rd
Cost: $25 (to rent the space and for a Sens Foundation donation)
Tickets: Buy tickets at the link here - you can buy at the door, but you get 2 raffle tickets if you buy online!
Events:
There will be two Sens-focused panels, one featuring the hosts of TSN 1200's That's What She Said, including our own Michaela Schreiter, and one with panelists TBD including someone from the Sens Foundation. There will also be NHL 16 available on PS4 and Xbox One to play. And of course, your ticket gets you a lot of bar food. This year there is less structured time, to allow for more chatting with Sens fans.
Prizes:
There are far too many prizes to list, so make sure to check out the website. The raffle prizes include autographed memorabilia, bobbleheads, tickets to Sens games, and a jersey autographed by the entirety of last year's Sens team. The silent auction contains more autographed memorabilia, and a hand-crafted Sens logo.
So really, there's no reason not to go. It's a good time for a good cause.
