Shane Prince Traded to New York Islanders for a 3rd-Round Pick

The Senators did make a deadline day deal, shipping off the young forward

Just as the trade deadline passed, reports emerged that Shane Prince was headed to the New York Islanders in exchange for a third-round pick

Confirmation came just a couple minutes later

Shane Prince was the most common healthy scratch this season in Ottawa. He had 12 points in 42 games this season with the Sens. We'll have more details and analysis later.
