Silver Nuggets: Lehner Forever!
Robin Lehner was excellent in net against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night (.971 SV%). He was excellent for the Sens on Tuesday night against the Blue Jackets (.970 SV%) Craig Anderson's numbers in his past few games can't compare (.917 SV% vs. Dallas; .850% vs. Chicago; .828% vs. San Jose). With Nathan Lawson returned to Bingo, Andy seems ready to return to the line-up.
Who would you start Saturday AFTERNOON AT 2 PM (BOOO) against the Panthers (who just fired their coach)?

- Robin Lehner is a beautiful, terrifying human being. Also he has eyes that can kill. [6th Sens] [Senators Extra]
- Chris Neil took another puck to the face. Neil will never wear a visor, but this is the third time this season he's had to leave for face repairs because of a puck/stick to the face. This time, the puck was incredibly close to his eye. Chris Neil wear a visor, please. Video [Puck Daddy]

- The latest NHL Fan Cost Index are out, and surprise, surprise Ottawa is at the bottom of the list. I was reading a Citizen article the other day from 1996 about the Sens attendance woes, and the average ticket prices were cited as $48 in 1996. This season? $43.51 [Puck Daddy]

- One of the benefits of Ian Mendes moving to TSN Radio is that he will now be writing regular pieces on the Sens for TSN.ca. His first such piece suggests there's no need for a goalie controversy in Ottawa this season. I remember an intermission clip from last year where Lehner tapped Mendes and the reporter went flying. He might want to rethink this position. [Mendes]
- Jeremy Milks agrees with Mendes [Black Aces] Milks also suggests attendance problems are due to the team creating a lot of unnecessary negativity around the club in the summer and wonders what's next for the defense.
