Silver Nuggets: Which is More Likely Series: Methot vs Michalek

Welcome back to the WIML series! I hope you are having as much fun as I am, and I apologize for no weekend content. Fear not, we are back in full force today! On Friday we looked at the potential number of games played for two Senator forwards, Guillaume Latendresse and Mika Zibanejad. The vote started out as the tightest one yet, separated by only a couple votes, but in the end, Zibanejad was deemed more likely to play 20 games than Latendresse was to play 60. User Manny T.t.T put it best:

I voted for Zibanejad, but it's a really tough call...

My first thought was that Latandresse would likely be injured at some point during the season, and that we’d be playing Z-bad a lot in the hopes of furthering his development and/or showcasing him for a trade.

However, now that I think about it, I think that Latandresse will do everything he can to prove he has a place in not only the NHL, but the top-6 especially.

I still think that Zibanejad will play 20 games, but it’s not as clear-cut as I originally thought

Now there is someone who understands the series! I try to make the questions as close as possible so that it isn't clear cut, and hopefully I am successful today.

In today's Nuggets, we look at two players acquired in the last couple seasons by Bryan Murray via trade: D-man Marc Methot and winger Milan Michalek. The question I have for you today is this:

Which is more likely? That Marc Methot leads the team in short-handed ice time OR that Milan Michalek leads the team in goals?

Methot: Though he suffered through an injury-riddled campaign last year, Methot averaged more than 2 minutes per game on the ice short-handed. The season before? 3 minutes per night, leading the Blue Jackets. Last year, the Senators were led in this department by Filip Kuba, but he is no longer here. Can Methot become the new PK leader for the Sens?

Michalek: Last season, despite playing three less games, Milan was able to score one more goal than his centre Jason Spezza. The 35 goals were a career high, as Milan had never even broken the 30 goal threshold before. On a team that will need his goals again, will Milan once more lead the team?

Both have proven their capabilities in the past, but which is MORE likely to do it this year?
