Silver Seven’s 2021 Top 25 Under 25: Reader Voting
Time for another dose of excitement before the start of a new season!
So, we’re still waiting for Brady Tkachuk and Drake Batherson to sign, huh? Wonderful. You know something will get done eventually, like with Thomas Chabot a few years back but we’ll never truly be at ease until it happens. The only thing we can really do is find ways to pass the time, but it can sometimes be difficult to put offseason content together. Yeah, if only we had a month-long series we do every year highlighting the best young players the team has — wait a second...
Welcome back to another edition of Silver Seven Sens’ Top 25 Under 25! The annual series dedicated to projecting your favourite team’s combination of prospects and young stars, their “rebuild potential”, if you will.
We’ll find out over the next several weeks just how much that crucial 2020 class has progressed, as well as if anyone can dethrone our four-time reigning champ, Thomas Chabot.
Additionally, you’ve got a chance to rank the newest additions from the 2021 NHL Draft! Promising young talents such as:
Tyler Boucher!

...
...and Zach Ostapchuk, maybe? I’m not saying this class doesn’t have potential, but the Mann Clan is clearly banking on these players to significantly improve on where they are right now, and it’s going to be tough to find a spot on this list among players who’ve been in the system for years.
You’ll find the link to the Google Form nowhere on this page because we’ve discovered an alternative — SurveyHero. You’ll finally be able to rank these players via a drag-and-drop mechanic!
Once you click the link, you’ll find something like this:
Just drag the options from left to right, and arrange the twenty-five players on your ranking in the desired order. Importantly, you only have to rank twenty-five from this group. For anyone outside of your list, simply click the ‘x’ icon next to their name to remove them. You won’t be able to submit the form until you do this.
We’ll be kicking off the rankings starting next week, so make sure you get your vote in before midnight, on Saturday, August 14th!
