Thank You, Silver Seven

Let’s start this off with a chart, shall we?

It’s been a little while since I last posted here, and even longer since I was publishing articles regularly; unfortunately, it’s time to say farewell. This break has made it clear to me how far my interests have pivoted away from hockey. As much as I’m going to miss this community, curbing my time online is what’s best for me going forward.

Saying goodbye is never easy. I’ve already said my farewell to the writers, although I couldn’t cap off my years here without also giving an immense thanks to all of you, the readers. You’ve kept me engaged the entire time, fostering compelling discussion, giving feedback to help me grow as a writer, and occasionally weirding me out just a bit. The bond with Sens culture certainly helped me survive the periods I had to live in rival territory. So as I’ve spent the last few days reminiscing over all the amazing moments this site has provided, I keep coming back to all of you. Thank you for making this community a part of your day.

Silver Seven has been home to the best team of Sens bloggers since its inception over a decade ago, and that won’t be changing anytime soon. Shaan and Owen are already running wild with the prospect updates, and Ary will be carrying out some of the NHL draft ideas we’d been planning. Nkb and company are keeping you covered with everything happening with the Sens. I may check in every now and then on here or the bird app, maybe the next time Pierre Dorion drafts a Swede or something.

Lastly, I’ve compiled a list of projects that were either ongoing or just an idea I hadn’t gotten around to or abandoned. This includes NHL draft and prospect research, chart ideas, a handful or Sens-related articles and everything in between. My goal has always been to keep my research free for anyone to access, so I’ve outlined projects with some raw data included for anyone who might be interested.
