- Nobody wants to think about a potential lockout but the truth is with the current deal ending soon, there's going to be a lot to discuss. TSN's Travis Yost looks into why signing bonuses have become a key negotiating requirement as players look to protect themselves from any lockout damages.
- Austin Watson will continue the trend of former Senators heading to Detroit. It was announced yesterday that the tough guy (who seemingly lost every fight) has accepted a Professional Tryout Offer with the Red Wings.
- Nobody will forget that the day of the tragic Humboldt Broncos brush crash. Too many lives were destroyed and the road to recovery was going to be a long one for everyone involved. Jacob Wassermann was one of the victims on the bus, luckily he survived but he was paralyzed from the waist down. He didn't let his injury destroy his resolve. After trying the sport of rowing Jacob Wassermann loved it and set all his energy excelling at it and now he will be representing Canada at the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
- The boys are back in town and the Senators are starting their season prep by spreading joy around the community. Brady Tkachuk, Thomas Chabot and Josh Norris donated $100,000 on behalf of the Sens to BGC Ottawa.
- Speaking of spreading joy, Tyler Kleven surprised young Sens fans during their summer camp at the Bell Sensplex.
