Weekly Question: Who Should Start in Goal?

With Craig Anderson still recovering from a bone bruise and Andrew Hammond apparently having been injured when Logan Couture crashed into him Monday night against San Jose, there's another goalie situation in Ottawa. Hammond pushed through the pain Thursday night against the Rangers, but didn't look comfortable in net and looked even more uncomfortable sitting on the bench. Ottawa faces a situation where they are potentially down to the fourth-string goalie as the most qualified, healthy option.

Unfortunately for the Senators, the team's loss on Thursday night leaves them tied with Boston for the final playoff spot and every game matters. To further complicate things, the Sens play back-to-back games this weekend: Saturday night against the Maple Leafs and Sunday night against the Panthers. Given how goaltenders normally perform when they play two days in a row (unless they're Hammond), Dave Cameron might be forced to go with two different goalies this weekend.

Today's Weekly Question is: who would you start tonight against Toronto?

Chris Driedger

The only 100% healthy option available to Dave Cameron. The 20-year-old is in his first full pro season and has spent the bulk of the campaign in the ECHL. He saw his first NHL action in relief of Hammond on Thursday night. Playing 23 minutes, he stopped all 10 shots he faced.

Andrew Hammond

Dave Cameron could always go back to Hammond. While he's looked tired of late and there are injury concerns, the team plays a confident brand of hockey in front of him, and he still owns the best save percentage on the team with a 93.8 SV%.

Craig Anderson

After being out for nearly six weeks with a bone bruise in his blocker hand, Andy came back (too early it would seem) for a narrow victory against the Flames and a regulation loss to the Bruins nearly three weeks ago. He backed up Hammond for a few more games before aggravating his injury.

Who would you start in goal tonight against Toronto?
